No. The caller will not be informed that their number has been revealed. The process is discreet, and the caller experience remains unchanged.

Can I find out if my ex is calling me from a private number?

Yes. If your ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, or a stalker is trying to hide behind 'No Caller ID', OppBlock will bypass the block. When you decline the call, their real phone number is instantly unmasked and logged in your dashboard so you have proof of the harassment.

Which networks are supported?

We work with all major UK pay monthly mobile providers. Also supporting some prepaid networks, such as giffgaff.

Why does the service only work with certain mobile networks?

Our technology uses a network feature called Conditional Call Forwarding (Busy). This is standard on most monthly contract plans but isn't supported by all pay as you go networks. This is why compatibility can vary.

How do I install this app on my phone?

Installing OppBlock app is required to enable instant push notifications of your anonymous callers number.

For iPhone / iOS (using Safari):
1. Tap the 'Share' icon at the bottom of the screen.

For Android (using Chrome):

Yes, your payment details are extremely safe. When you proceed to payment, you are redirected to Stripe's secure payment page, which you can verify by checking the URL in your browser's address bar. Stripe is one of the world's largest and most secure payment processors.

What happens if I don’t reject the call?

If you answer a private or unknown call, OppBlock will not be able to unmask the number. You must decline or reject the call in order for the service to work.

Can I block the unmasked number afterwards?

Yes. Once you have the number, you can block it directly using your phone’s call blocking settings or any additional call management services you may have.

Do you automatically block excessively repeated calls?

Yes. To enhance your peace of mind and prevent notification spam, our system includes an automatic protection feature. If a single withheld number calls you excessively (specifically, after 50 attempts), we will automatically stop sending SMS and email alerts for that number. However, every call is still logged and remains fully visible in your dashboard call history, ensuring you never lose a record.

Why do SMS alerts sometimes stop for a specific number?

To protect you from harassment and prevent excessive notifications from a single caller, our system has a two-stage throttling process:

Temporary Pause: After the first call from a new number, SMS alerts for that specific number are automatically paused for one hour. You will continue to receive push notifications and email notifications, and the call will be logged in your dashboard.

Permanent Stop: If the same number continues to call and triggers 15 SMS notifications, all future SMS alerts for that number will be permanently stopped. All subsequent calls from that number will still be logged in your dashboard and sent via push notification and email, but you will no longer receive text messages for it.

This system ensures you stay informed without being overwhelmed by a persistent caller. You can always view the complete call history by logging into your dashboard.

Does it work internationally?

How do I cancel my subscription?

You have full control to cancel your subscription at any time directly from your account dashboard. There are no long term contracts or hidden fees. Simply navigate to the account management section to make changes.

I rejected a private call, but I didn't receive the unmasked number. What should I do?

If your mobile network temporarily fails to pass the forwarding data, our system proactively kicks in to find your call automatically. Keep your dashboard open, and within seconds, a PRIVATE CALL DETECTED alert will automatically appear on your screen asking if you just rejected a call. Simply tap Yes to instantly claim and unmask it. If you miss this automatic alert, you can still search for the call manually by clicking the 'UNMASK RECENT PRIVATE CALL' button on your dashboard.

What is your refund policy?

If our system is unable to successfully unmask a private call, you are eligible for a full refund. However, once a private call has been successfully unmasked in your dashboard, the service has been rendered and we cannot offer a refund.
